SUPERIOR  COURT  TRIAL JURORS:

 ALL JURORS WHO WERE SELECTED TO TRY THE CASE OF STATE OF GEORGIA VS TIFFANY KINARD ARE RELEASED AND DO NOT NEED TO REPORT FOR THE JURY TRIAL.  THE DEFENDANT HAS PLED IN THE CASE AND YOU ARE RELEASED FROM YOUR SUMMONS FOR THURSDAY AND FRIDAY,  AUGUST 15TH AND 16TH, 2019.  THANK YOU. 

STATE COURT JURORS:

ALL STATE COURT JURORS WHO RECEIVED A SUMMONS FOR JURY SELECTION ON MONDAY, JULY 22, 2019 BEFORE JUDGE RONALD K. THOMPSON ARE  RELEASED AND DO NOT HAVE TO REPORT.  NO JURY SELECTION WILL BE HELD JULY 22ND. THANKS.

 

Juror Information Form


Inside your juror summons envelope you will find a juror information form. You are to complete the form at home and bring with you to the courthouse. If you have misplaced the form you can request another one from the Clerk. Please view the juror excusal affidavit (PDF).

Dress Code


Proper dress (PDF) is required and expected by prospective and / or trial jurors.
Not allowed inside courtrooms:
  • Chewing gum
  • Flip-flops
  • Hats
  • Low cut blouses
  • No One under 10 years old
  • Shorts
  • Tank tops
  • T-shirts, etc.

Time and Money


Jury service typically takes all day, so it is up to you to make any arrangements at home or work. Effingham County jurors are paid $25.00 per diem for their service.
